You can enter business and private addresses of your contacts. Furthermore you can enter salutation, greeting letters, greeting emails, address person, gender, language, where first met, when first met and a comment.
The Last Contact field will display the date of the last meeting you have had with that contact. This value will be automatically retrieved from your calendar. The Next Contact field will act the same but showing the date of the next expected meeting.
What are Greetings
Greetings are headers of letters and emails, like Hello James or Dear Sir. Typically, we have at least 2 different types of greetings. The formal and informal. The idea behind the greeting system in Daisho is to have a way by which you can automatically set the greeting depending on the person you are sending the email to. This saves time when writing emails that are addressing a single person and can help avoiding embarrassing mistakes.
To illustrate more, Ahmed has his boss Bob Moore and his friend Seif Ryad's emails stored in his Daisho contacts page. When Ahmed clicks on the create email button attached to his boss' contact, he expects to address him as Dear Mr. Moore, while of he is sending Seif an email, he'd address him with Hi Seif.
You are in the view Contact Details. You can select the greeting from the drop down menu or you can type in your own greeting for emails.
By clicking the email icon on the top Send email, a Compose message window will pop up with the selected email address showing in the To: field. Whatever is saved in the Greeting emails field will be inserted at the beginning of the email message.
What are Datasets
