Set your Focus
Set the priority areas of your daily life by defining color-coded contexts and define the time you want to dedicate to a context with time budgets. Time budgets can be defined either on a full-weekly, work-weekly or monthly basis.
Daisho visualizes the planned time budgets in an intuiative chart. It's easy to see whether your high-level priorities correspond to the time you want to spend on them.
Reviewing your time allocation is must-have feature for a professional time management software.
Time Management Software: Integration is Key
The calendar is tightly integrated with the planning view. You can see context-based planning as color-coded markers in your calendar. This ensures you are always aware of the areas you planned to focus on at a given point in time, so you can align the activities of specific day with your long-term planning.
Of course, Daisho has all the features you expect from a professional time management software, and a few things beyond, e.g.
- Repeat entries with exceptions
- Whole-day events
- Integration of your contact's birthdays (configurable by contact)
- Configurable preparation and wrap-up (or travel) time around meetings
- Import from and export to Outlook (requires granted access rights for Daisho)
- vCal invitations
No more Little Yellow Stickers
To replace all the post-it notes you used to have all over your desk, Daisho has a quick note feature readily available: Shift-Ctrl-i as global short-cut, type out your note, hit Enter, done!
Later on, you can easily convert your quick notes to tasks, meetings or calls or just delete them when you don't need them anymore.
Outlook: Import and Export
Besides contacts and emails (including sub-folders) you can import and export calendar entries to and from Outlook.
The import and export functionality requires a local installation of Outlook 2003 or higher and is only available for the Windows version of Daisho.
It is also required that Daisho is not blocked from accessing Outlook by a local security tool (Norton etc.). You will need to configure your security tool in this case.
