Run from a USB-Stick

Install DAISHO on your USB stick (USB 2.0 recommended) and use DAISHO on every Netbook, Laptop or Desktop-PC with the same data. Even if your Netbook runs Linux, your laptop is a Mac and your desktop uses Windows.

Windows, Mac, Linux

DAISHO is available in five versions for

  • Windows (Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7)
  • Linux - 32 and 64 bit
  • Mac OSX - 32 and 64 bit

A single license allows you to use all or any of these versions. The underlying relational database runs on all operation systems so you can use DAISHO on whatever platform you like.

Netbook Mode

Small, portable, mobile. Netbooks are the ideal companions while on the road.

But usually the screen size is an issue. However, DAISHO offers a special Netbook mode which optimizes the layout for a restricted display sizes.

Relational Database

DAISHO is based on the Apache Derby relational database - a proven Open-Source database.

The built-in transactional features ensure that your data is safely stored and even large data volumes (especially emails) do not cause any issues.

For added security, you have the option of encrypting the database when you run the application for the first time.

Java and Eclipse RCP

DAISHO is built with Java and is based on the open source Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP).

This technology ensures the platform independence and makes DAISHO future-proof.
