Daisho - Build an Army of Allies

Contact Perspective

Daisho_Contact_View

The Contact View shows all relevant information about a contact: As many business and private adress sets as you need, freely definable CRM information like industry or hierarchy level, greetings for emails and letters or the date of the first contact.

Contact Radar

Daisho_Contact_Radar

With the Contact Radar you can see which of your contacts are in danger of becoming stale: the further away a contact is from the center of the radar, the further in the past the date of the last interaction was.

Using easily configurable filters you can analyze which of your contacts you should get in touch with again. More...

Find Quickly

Daisho_Contact_Search

Retrieve your contact information quickly, look up phone numbers: use CTRL-F as global shortcut to search automatically for the first, middle or last name of a contact or the contact's company name.

You can't do it any faster.

Of course you can group your contacts or place them in the Quick Contacts View as favorites for contacts whose data you need frequently. More...

Know the History

Daisho_Contact_History

To strategically foster your network, you need to know the history of your interactions with your contacts. When did you meet? When did you phone the last time? Where did you meet the first time?

The answers to these questions can be found in the Contact History View which is also the basis for the contact radar.

Plan your next Steps

Daisho_Contact_Actions

While the Contact History reflects the past, you can plan the next steps to strengthen the relationship to your contacts in the Contact Action View, whether it's about meeting in person, about phone calls or to-do's.

The link from actions to the associated contact is always maintained so you can directly navigate from an calendar entry to the associated contact.

Dynamic Groups

Daisho_Advanced_Contact_Search

Thanks to the underlying relational database you can search for your contacts with advanced filters or group them on filter-based dynamic groups.

Dynamic groups retrieve all contacts at run-time which match the filter criteria.

For example, you can easily group all your contacts on the executive level, or in the advertising industry. Whenever you add new contacts which fit these criteria, they automatically become members of the appropriate dynamic groups.

Quick Contacts View

Daisho_Contact-Quick_Access

Quite often, you do not need the full contact information, but rather just a telephone number or an email address.

With the Quick Contact View, you can define groups of contacts which you need to look-up often, similar to bookmarks on your web browser. You can access these contacts easily with one click of the mouse.

Import of Outlook Contacts

By using the Outlook Import wizard, you can easily import your contact data from your local Outlook installation.

This functionality requires a local installation of Outlook 2003 or higher, and is available only for the Windows version of Daisho.

It is also required that Daisho is not blocked from accessing Outlook by a local security tool (Norton etc.). You will need to configure your security tool in this case.

CSV Import and Export

To import existing contact data into Daisho, you can import them from CSV (comma seperated value) files.

CSV export is supported as well.
