DAISHO is especially engineered for professionals (e.g. consultants and freelancers) and brings

  • an integrated email client which supports tagging and customizable filters;
  • professional time management features with time budget planning;
  • intuitive basic functions for project management with milestones and hierarchical structuring of tasks; and,
  • core contact management with contact history and the innovative contact radar.

These features make DAISHO a powerful self-management instrument.

Software for working in the 21st century

Many professionals prefer DAISHO as an alternative to MS Outlook, as it can be installed on a USB stick and as a result provides flexible access to the software and its data anywhere. Also, thanks to the new synchronization feature, users can synchronize their data from their computers, smartphones or PDAs via a SyncML server. This simplifies working on the go.

Installed on a USB stick, the free Linux version of the productivity tool can be used on any notebook, netbook or desktop PC without any additional installation. DAISHO is available for Linux, OSX and Windows. (To use the Windows and Mac version of the software, a commercial license is required).

“There are many freelancers and professionals who prefer Linux. We want to offer them the option to use DAISHO, our proven, multifunctional software” says Klaus Wiedemann, managing director of Daisho Blacksmith and adds “We hope for broad feedback from Linux users and a vivid exchange in our support community (http://support.daisho-blacksmith.com) to further enhance our PIM tool with focus on the needs and wishes of our users.”

Since release of version 4.1. it is possible to synchronize calendar, contacts, tasks and notes with Smartphones and PDAs via SyncML, which also supports mobile and flexible work of professionals and freelancers.
