Munich, May, 12^th 2011 The new version of the personal information management tool DAISHO is available now for download.
After successfully completing a beta test phase – in which numerous DAISHO users took part – version 4.2 of DAISHO has been released. The focus of the self management software’s new release is the simple synchronization of data.

Platform Independence

The synchronization mechanism used by DAISHO is platform agnostic. With the sync function in DAISHO, the user’s contacts, calendar, tasks and notes can be synchronized with other devices and applications. This allows the user to easily keep his data on his PDAs, smart-phones and computers (notebook, desktop PC, netbook) up to date, regardless of the underlying OS. In addition, DAISHO gives the user the option to decide which modifications should be adopted during the sync process.

“With the sync release we offer our users the opportunity to flexibly administer their data. No matter where they are, if they use their contacts, dates or notes with their smart-phone or notebook – they can always access their latest data”, says Klaus Wiedemann, managing director of Daisho Blacksmith. Beyond that, the SyncML server acts as a back up of phone data. In the case of a loss of the phone or purchase of a new one the user’s data can be restored.

With DAISHO’s SyncML server, synchronization of data is even more comfortable for users. “Over the last few months we have invested a lot in the enhancement of DAISHO. With DAISHO 4.2 we now present a new generation of our self management software. We want to spread this tool at a large-scale in the market”, explains Klaus Wiedemann. “The free version, DAISHO^basic allows the users a unrestricted usage of the basic functions such as email, calendar and contacts (with a maximum of 50 entries). To activate the other features, namely planning, projects, reports, dashboard and contact radar, a license key for the Professionals’ Edition DAISHO^PRO is required”, he adds.
